Information that is important to provide is:
-When you would like to be moved.
-The loading and unloading addresses along with how many flights of stairs or elevators we will be using at each location.
-A list of items that will not be boxed
-An estimate of how many boxes you expect. We understand that on moving day this can change. Please do not be overly concerned with this as we, as professionals are use to more boxes. Just a rough estimate works.
-Please let us know if any speciality items need moved.
After providing us with this information we will be able to provide you with a no cost quote. For local moves with no speciality items we will provide an hourly cost with a truck fee. We have no hourly minimums on our jobs and only charge by the half-hour used, most moving companies have minimums, and charge for a full hour used.
We can then place you on the schedule for the move. The best time to schedule your move is today as we do book up often and especially during the prime moving months.
After scheduling, if you elected to call us we will need an email with the details of your move to confirm everything. That email can be sent to GrandviewMoving@gmail.com. We will then reply to your email with the agreed upon cost and our policies.
If you submitted a form on this website we will email you with your form and confirmed move date, time, cost and policies.

Prior to Moving Day we will call you a day or two before to confirm your move.
On Moving Day our professionals will call you as we begin to head to your current home. Please do your best to secure the best loading location, this will make it easier on the movers and save you time which will save you money.
We will arrive at your home and begin to load your items. We will carry or dolly your items to the truck where we will apply blankets and straps to secure your items for a safe transport. We will then ask if the customer would like to walk through the home to make sure we got everything. Please let us know of any special directions on where we are going.
When we arrive at your new home we will find the best location to park the truck and begin to unload your items. Please let us know where to go with the large items and where to place them in your new home. It will always save time and money if boxes are placed on the main floor, we will be happy to place the boxes wherever you like.
